TIME GUARDIANS

Your neighbor, co-worker, friend, lover, or even you could be a time guardian...
In another solar system, four planets have been occupied by the Gaels--Earth cultures who relocated in the not-so-distant future. Upon one of those planets, two Time Guardian Orders were created, Ring Masters and Druids. The Orders are male and female, a dichotomy that plays lackey to the fairies. Members of the Orders live, die, eat, and breathe at the whims of the Gods. The price they pay is in exchange for the ability to study their cultural history through time travel. They sacrifice their lives to understand their past.
The Orders intermarry to prevent paradoxical children from being born along the timeline. The marriage is a sacred binding sanctioned by the Gods resulting in two souls being bound to each other throughout time. Therein originates the myth of soul mates.
You could be a Time Guardian in this incarnation. You just haven't realized it yet.
RING MASTERS
All truths are easy to understand once they are discovered;

It is written that the Brotherhood began with a few warrior monks who bucked the system
as well as the Catholic priesthood.
These renowned men fought for an individual's freedom in connecting with The One. For the men of this time, The One was the Christian God.
And these men were outlawed.
These are the Brothers who fought for religious freedom and began the trek toward time guardianship.
Although, they knew nothing of the rewards and trials their struggle would reap.
These men instigated Christian mysticism.
These men are not forgotten.
Descendants of the Templars became kamikaze bodyguards who marry Druids and travel with their spouses in jaunts through time. Ring Masters--Brothers--use numerology to navigate through time and space. Each man is awarded a time-travel key--a nidium claymore--to use to activate stone circles for time travel after he is found worthy around the end of his 20-year apprenticeship in the Brotherhood.
Ring Masters's lives are spent in the quest for Truth in order to demystify what the Gods really are. Brothers constantly try to expand the field of Post-Modern Alchemy. Above all else, these men protect their wives.
For it is written...
2nd Point of Time Travel:
Every man is your grandfather.
3rd Point of Time Travel:
Every woman is your grandmother.
5th Point of Time Travel:
No Druid may wield a weapon.
6th Point of Time Travel:
No Ring Master may kill unless protecting his wife.
Don't mess with a Ring Master's soul mate.
He will kill you.

John Dee is held as the father of Post-Modern Alchemy by The Orders. His studies enrich the Brotherhood's understanding of time travel. Because the Gods have yet to share how the fairies translate, rather transmutate, a human through time and across space. Without John Dee's extensive studies, the Brotherhood would have little to operate upon in descrying time travel. And while believing Dee fathered The Order's science of Post-Modern Alchemy, no Brother has met Dee nor has proof Dee worked for The Cause.

And then there are those genetically-modified beings that
humans created in the future.
They seem fairy-like but of fragile human spirit.
They are real.
And they are returning to claim their place within history.
DRUIDS

These Sisters have no idea who the first Druids were. Nor can they believe Druids originated in the past. These Sisters can only reason they exist within a pool of bards along Time's vast continuum. They must believe they are part of the great chain of Time and serve a higher purpose beyond merely studying their history. These women sacrifice everything to maintain history's integrity.
In joining the Orders as young girls, these women educate themselves in a rite of passage spanning 20 years and then leave everything they have behind in order to study the past. And they suffer the fate of history's populations.
Druids can die... 
The Orders view Sisters in a sacred light.
These women are coveted by their spouses.
And in the grand scheme of their culture's world view,
Druids are the sacred feminine.
